First Project of the Year

This first project was all about mark making; exploring how the meaning of the marks change depending on where the mark is located and what mediums were used to create it.  I used charcoal, acrylic paint, canvas, string, elastic bands and ink for this project.  I also made a short film which is projected onto the wall.

The First Week

It feels good to be back in the studio and surrounded by creativity.  I had a bit of a slow start last week but finally have a few things to post.

I am basically picking-up from where I left off last year, and am planning to push many new ideas into my work as the weeks roll on.
