I recently got the urge to do some self portraits, so over the past couple days I've done a few.  Here they are:

Productive Weekend

I painted quite a bit this weekend.  Desi had to work both Saturday and Sunday so I was home alone and spent the majority of both days painting and drawing.  So here is what became of my weekend...

These are the paintings I did on Saturday:

I was listening to Talking Heads while working on these.

And these are Sunday's paintings:

I was enjoying the sounds of some great blues-men on Sunday.

 And here is a work-in-progress piece that I worked on both Saturday and Sunday.  I'll continue working on this one for a while using pencil, coloured pencil and ink.

The End Of The Semester

This semester is coming to an end which means I need to display my work in the studio for assessment. We were told to prominently display the work that we feel has been our best, but also have all of this semester's work available for them to see.  I hung up the three panels that make up the Objects Of Desire project along with two additional pieces.  One of  the additional pieces is a print I did while experimenting with lithography and the other is a music interpretation drawing from our drawing week. Here is what it looks like:

I replicated the jar that was used to film the Electric Eden video and placed it on the table along with the  additional work and sketches from this semester.  Here's a link to the video if you're interested: My First Project

As far as the music that helped create the Objects Of Desire project, I haven't really kept track. It's been a long project and all I can say is it has been quite an eclectic mix of music.
