Last Week and Today

I haven't been drawing as much because I've still been focused on the films, but throughout last week I did do a couple quick self portraits. I also did a few today.

Here are the two from last week, unfortunately I forgot to write down what music I was listening to while working on these two so I have no idea what it was. Yes I know, I'm getting a bit lazy with this project.

More Drawings On Wood Panels

Here are a few more drawings on wood panels. I have been experimenting with drawing then wiping the drawing off, then drawing over the remains of the first drawing and so on, layer after layer. Also I've been messing around a bit with using pastels on wet wood. The results have been interesting.

Wood

Today I decided to try some of these pastel drawings on wood rather than paper, I even wound up doing a bit of painting. I started off the day by doing the first couple of drawings on paper though.

Yes, More Self Portraits

I got burnt out working on the film after two days spent non-stop in front of a computer screen, so I decided to stay in the studio today and churn out some drawings - I'll get back to the film later this week. My camera ran out of memory whilst taking pictures so I wasn't able to photograph them all but here is a sample of today's sketches.
